Dr. Genevieve Bartuski is a Licensed Psychologist in Virginia and Texas who provides telehealth therapy to women, teenagers, and adults navigating life transitions, career stress, trauma, and anxiety. She also specializes in the intersection of technology and mental health, supporting families with challenges related to social media, online safety, and the growing influence of AI.
Dr. Bartuski's approach is straightforward and collaborative with real conversations that help clients understand themselves and move forward. She meets clients where they are, treating them as people first, and tailors treatment to what actually works for each individual. She draws on a range of evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches.
She believes the foundation of meaningful therapy is the relationship itself. If you've been in therapy before, she'll take time to understand what's worked and what hasn't. Her goal is for every client to leave each session with a clearer sense of themselves and the confidence to move forward.
Dr. Bartuski holds a PsyD and has been in practice for over ten years. She is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, in both Forensic and Cyberpsychology, and holds an MBA that informs her understanding of workplace pressures and career-related stress. She serves as a forensic evaluator in Virginia, sits on the state's Forensic Evaluation Oversight Panel, and consults on AI safety for mental health risk. She has a forthcoming chapter, "Virtual Agents and Synthetic Relationships," in the Palgrave Encyclopedia of Cyberpsychology (Springer Nature, 2026).
Outside of her clinical and forensic work, Dr. Bartuski consults on industry projects related to the interaction between technology use and mental health.
